Olentangy Roofing
Two generations and a scheduler. That is the whole org chart.
Small is not our limitation; it is the product. These are the only three people Olentangy Roofing has, and between the phone and your rooftop, you will deal with nobody else.
Ryan Delaney: owner, second generation
Ryan carried shingles up ladders for his father's company before he could drive, joined the crew full time in 2009, and took over in 2016 when his father's knees retired him from ladders. He brought the online schedule and the traced-diagnosis habit; he refused, on the record and at the kitchen table, to change the repair-first rule. Still traces the hard leaks himself, the ones where the stain and the entry point live in different zip codes of the same roof.
Mike Delaney: founder
Mike roofed for other Columbus companies through the eighties, founded the original company in 1990 out of a Clintonville garage bay, and ran it on paper for twenty six years. He is off ladders now and in the office most mornings, reviewing the tough diagnoses and keeping one rule in force: repair it until repairing it stops making sense. Homeowners who met him in the nineties now meet his son, and the rule introduces them.
Tessa Alvarez: the office
Tessa joined in 2019 and runs the schedule and the callbacks. If you have emailed [email protected] or had a leak's path talked through with you on the phone, you have met her. She is the reason the person who books your inspection is the same person who calls you back.
